So, I just got back from RiteAid where I got my INFLUENZA shot (a.k.a. the FLU shot). And hoo, boy! let me tell you! It was completely painless, which was a nice repeat of last year, except I got it at an after hours clinic last year. It was weird... I felt it go in, but didn't feel any pain! The trick I learned is to move your fingers like you're playing the piano, and hum a little song while not looking at it and what happened to me will happen to you! (i.e. the non-pain) It was glorious.
So, yeah. Things have been crazy, also. Like UBER SUPER MEGA crazy! First, my grandparents came down to visit from New York for another of my aunt's craft shows down in Chesepeake, VA. That was fun, though I barely saw them due to my crazy-hectic work schedule. ack.
Then, two Sunday's ago -- this is the "bad" crazy -- I was working and this b**** of a girl I work with decided to prank me and get my (also) stuck-up, egotisitcal b**** of a manager in on the "joke". What happened is that b-word drove through Drive-Thru where I was on headset, taking peoples orders and taking money, and starts swearing obsenities into the mic about how her order was wrong and how f***ing pissed she was. She used the f-word every other word, which was highly unnecessary. (Note: at this time, I didn't know it was her; I just thought it was some irate, crazy customer) So, I told her she could drive up to the second window and we'd get whatever the problem was taken care of. So, me, freaking out because I HATE those angry confrontations, I run to my b**** of a manager and tell her what happened. Now, looking back, a red flag should have popped right up when she smiled and sort of laughed and told me to go back and deal with it, not her, when she's the FREAKING MANAGER AND IS SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH ANGRY CUSTOMERS!!! NOT ME!!! So, I was freaked (not to mention angrier than a freaking hornet!) and didn't want to go back there by myself so one of my coworkers went back with me, but the "lady" totally ignored us and rolled up her window. So, I gave up and went back to taking orders for Drive Thru and the "lady" drove to the next window. Then, my manager came back and told me a little bit later that the "lady" was going to call the hotline on me because I was rude to her. This, I totally went in freak-out mode because -- heck! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!! -- so I still continued to take orders until I had to go up to front line for a minute and saw this girl I work with (who is a total B****!!! I hate her.) wearing that jacket I saw the lady in the car wearing, so a little red flag went up for me, thinking -- slightly -- that it was her, but I dissmissed it, thinking that maybe it wasn't her, because yo! -- I always look for the best in people and don't seek to blame -- but that was until someone kept making monster noises into the headset from another through the button someone else pushes in theirs to talk to me. This happened freaking THREE TIMES (and FYI = when that happens I can't HEAR THE CUSTOMERS!!! It talks over them) and by then I was freaking about ready to blow my top. So, I -- saying to myself, that's it! I'm fed up with her s***!!! -- now admitting to myself that it was probably that b**** of a girl, I grab my purse and jacket, storm up front, and see her shove the other headset under her jacket, trying to "hide" it, and I start yelling that this is ridiculous! this is a place of work not a place of play and I'm not putting up with this childish crap. I'm not. I'm not quitting but no way am I working tonight. So, I clock out and storm out of the store and walk home fuming. Literally! It felt like steam was coming out of my ears I was so angry! So, once I get home and I tell my aunt what happened she made me call and demand what was going on! My manager then starts talking to me like I was the b****! Saying "Now we know you can't take a joke, and you didn't have to storm out like that." If I wasn't talking to her on the phone, I'm not sure if I could have restrained myself from slapping her B**** A** FACE!!! God, I hate her too!

So, yeah, that's my angry rantings.
Also, another bad things happened. Our cat, Red, got shot in the eye with a BB Gun by our neighbor. He's semi-okay now; he's recovering, but he's going ot go blind, or partially blind nevertheless. I feel so bad for him. SO BAD.
Yeah.
Oh! My best friend, Kristen, I was talking to her the other day -- I think it was on Saturday -- and she's working in a haunted house, sponsered by the local fire department. She says it's under fun. I wish I was there!
